The "Ask the Jew" Column!

Monthly Ask the Jew Jewish Column with tips on Gambling, Nightlife & Everything Las Vegas

1. What is the best table game to play in the Casino?
That depends on what you like. If you want to be a bad Jew and you like losing money then most any game would work, especially Caribbean Stud and Let it Ride. The best game in my opinion is Pai Gow Poker because not only does it let you get your drink on, you don't lose much playing it.

2. Are there any places that are still "Old Vegas"?
Old Vegas still exists, at least for the time being. Unfortunately Old Vegas dies every day but fortunately it also gains every day. If you are looking Old Vegas, I'd go to Summerlin. There is no shortage of old people there. A lot are Jewish too. You will find a Del Web there but be prepared, you must be at least 55 to get in. Next week I will provide other old folks homes too.

3. Is Downtown a good place to go or is it a dive?
Depends. It is a great place to go to get shot, stabbed, beat down, crack, cheap hookers, cross dressing hookers, AIDS, Herpes, The Clap, Crabs, Robbed, Jacked, Murdered, Raped, and so much more. Trust me, there is no shortage of things to do downtown. If you are looking for any of the above or just cheap beer, there is no better place to be.

4. Does Vegas have any shows under $100 any more?
Vegas has shows for free if you want. I personally love the show that has North Las Vegas Police beating down well deserving people. It is great! You see Night Sticks, Pepper Spray, and more. Sometimes for bonus features you even get to see the dogs in action. That is a real treat.
