What makes Vegas “VEGAS”??
It’s definitely unlike walking into a restaurant in New
York, a nightclub in Miami or even a lounge in L.A.
There a several elements that set apart Vegas nightlife
from that of any other city.
What defines a Vegas Restaurant?
Is it the culinary delights of world-renowned chefs
whose everyday concoctions stretch to new boundaries,
molding and creating a new definition of “damn good
food”? Or is it the atmosphere that draws them in?
Pretty places that bring in pretty people whose taste
are as extravagant as their pocketbooks. Those who enjoy
good food with good friends and will spare no expense to
have them both, chewing their food to the eclectic beats
buzzing in the background. Who doesn’t want to toast a
bottle of champagne they can’t afford just to be in the
company of those who can? It’s human nature to covet.
What better place to do so but Vegas?
What defines a Vegas Nightclub?
The desire to surpass the long winding lines and through
the velvet ropes with a bevy of midriff bearing hotties
on your arm. Or are you the lady who rolls up with your
crew hooked up RIGHT hoping the bouncer will think so
too and let you through. It’s all about VIP people. And
if you’re not on the list or if you don’t know a host,
then be ready to bust out the bankroll. Cause you aren’t
getting through VIP without the $$$. YES, people
actually put up crazy dough so they can roll through
proper leaving everyone in line wondering who they are.
It’s the appeal about being watched and envied. Throwing
down two g’s on a bar tab because you want to impress
some females, maybe get them to your table or even back
to the hotel. Unbeknownst to you, she’s just using you
for free drinks and a place to rest her weary feet.
Ladies are no exception. Your feet are only weary
because you chose to wear the uncomfortable stilettos
for cute factor and because they went better with the
outfit. Got your hair done just right, nails hooked up
with a French pedicure to match. Just good to go.
Carrying hopes with you as well that maybe you can hook
up with that baller you spotted across the room and get
invited into the VIP section. Go back to a hotel room
and leave with a little more than the self-respect you
left behind. But it’s okay though, because everyone does
it. What defines a Vegas Nightclub isn’t necessarily the
music or the cost of the drinks. It’s the crowd the club
draws in.
What defines a Vegas Ultra Lounge?
Sexy break beats, funky house, dope décor and hot
bartenders are the equation to a successful ULTRA
Lounge. Finding a place to chill with friends isn’t
about pulling up a chair at your local PT’s anymore.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking on the PT’s. It’s
definitely still a locals favorite and with good reason.
But I’m talking about where you want to go to chill and
still have reason to come pimped out. Lounging ultra
doesn’t come cheap either, so you best bring more than
just your game playa.
What it all comes down to is this. The allure of Vegas
is that it really is the city of Sin. You can come here
and be who you want to be. Create a whole other
identity. Play out your most inner desires and
fantasies. Do something you would never think of doing
otherwise. What are your inhibitions? Who do you want to
be?
