Sin City Saturation
Las Vegas has gone the way of Hollywood movies and fast food chains… No Originality! When one place gets a good idea, everyone jumps on it. Mega Resort opens – success - within 10 years there are 20 more that look identical. Mega Club opens – success - within 5 years there are 15 more just like it. Mega Lounge opens – success - within 3 years 10 more just like it. Burlesque Club opens – success - within 1 year 5 more just like it. Holy Shit people! Does anyone else realize that we do not have enough people to support ALL of them? Only the originals are successful; the rest just over saturate the market. Like most of the problems in this city it can all be traced back to the casinos. They’re so busy trying to one-up each other that, God forbid, another casino has a jump on something for a minute. I’m surprised every casino doesn’t have a tattoo shop in it already. Oh, and just wait until one of the casinos finally sacks up and puts a strip club in. You know that every construction company in town will be scurrying to install poles every ten
feet.
I’m done with them all! If you want to find me, I will be at Money Plays… the ONLY place in town that serves glass half-yards of beer. And even though Money Plays has wall plaques with members who’ve downed over 10,000 half yards, you don’t see THEM opening up 15 locations with the same fucking concept.
